A friend told me about this place. It's actually two places in one. La Cha - drinks and The Bowl - Asian cuisine. The place is small in a strip mall off of Carson and Normandie with a shared parking lot behind it is close to the Rite-Aid. As you enter, The Bowl has digital menus available on the right, with a wall for their hung menus. I supposed their kitchen it tucked away somewhere but it was not visible to me. The main area is La Cha and a shared dining area for both. I was told about the infamous Dubai Chocolate Pistaschio Frappe with the Cracking Chocolate shell along the inside of the cup. There were many people in the place and at least 5 people working The Frappe was amazing. So much fun to crack the chocolate shell by squeezing the cup. The Pistaschios and crumble on the top was delicious. I'm sure the drink has a zillion calories but YOLO!!! Free WiFi, with network and password printed on your receipt. Receipt also provides a QR code to order online in the future. Oh snap!! I shall return. Ok, bye.

This is such a laid-back spot. I honestly was ecstatic to have been able to come and try the Dubai drink that's going viral at the moment. I live far from this spot but decided to try it. My oh my, my trip was worth it. When I first sipped the drink, it was refreshing, honestly super tasty, and the sweetness level was just right. The beef bowl was also spot on. It was super busy; people kept coming in and out, but it was a worthwhile visit. I would visit more if I lived closer. Considering they're swamped, the wait wasn't too bad. Staff are efficient and fast.

Came here to try the viral Dubai chocolate drink around 7pm and it was very busy!! People were here to try it too LOL! Ive been here before and this was the busiest I've seen. The Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Frappe was pretty good however I didn't realize until I tasted it that it would have a coffee flavor... well it is a frappe I guess. I think the drink would be better if it didn't have coffee in it. Their chocolate cups are so satisfying to crack. Such a fun idea! I love how it is always very clean, tidy, and bright inside.

The food is great and the drinks are better! My go to is the blended matcha with a chocolate cup, and the teriyaki beef. I've also tried the katsu and it's also good. The wait is a bit long, but definitely worth it. We come here once a week!

What? A trendy boba place a block away from my pad? South Bay is coming up The main draw of this place, is the crackling Choco Cup. That's what I got, with a Thai tea Oreo smoothie. The cracking cup is fun, but a little over hyped as you don't get too much of the chocolate in your sips, I assume you would have to mash it up pretty good with your straw for you to get some in the sip. For me it was just a tasty pule of chocolate at the end up my drink, a treat. The smoothy was tasty, decent boba flavor and texture, good enough to go back and try some other flavors, and I'd get a social cup again just because it was fun.... the bowls look pretty damn good too, will update the review after I have one.

This place is a great boba spot and has actual food. I stumbled upon this place on my way home from taking my dog to the dog park on a Friday evening. Lots of parking Lots of food and drink options There's lots of seating inside and outside as well in the back/ patio area. The interior is clean, cool posters and has a really unique mirrors/ windows( ?)In the ceiling ! Ordering is easy on the kiosks, staff is really friendly and can help suggest things to the counter if you need help. I ended up trying the Dubai chocolate pistachio frappe w "crackling chocolate" The barista explained they line the cup with chocolate and freeze it so when you are drinking it as you squeeze the cup the chocolate crackles and breaks up into your drink The Dubai chocolate drink did not disappoint !!!!! It's SO RICH, creamy !!! The flavor of pistachio is luxurious, the shredded filo dough comes through as a nice nutty crunch. The chocolate is not too overpowering. The drink comes with a spoon in case you want to eat the top later of pistachio / chocolate , I tried a bite and mixed it into my drink The crackling chocolate was cool but just added chocolate crunch in the drink, didn't make too much of a difference in my opinion. I'd definitely recommend this place and the drink ! The drink is 11/10 !! Gotta try it! maybe a once in a while since there's probably a lot of sugar. So just be aware of that ! Will definitely come back to try their food and other beverages :)

I went to pick up some boba while heading home- I was visiting a friend. I requested less sweet boba with the chocolate shell on the cup. The boba was good quality and the milk tea wasn't sweet. I like that you have the ability to order at a kiosk or at the cash register. The parking situation is a little funky in front of the immediate establishment- I feel like it is an accident waiting to happen- but it is in a strip mall so you can find parking and walk across to grab some boba! Overall, when I am visiting again and in need for boba I will come back.

The Oreo Matcha was literally so good I'm sad that I have no more... that's all. The minute I walked in the signs make the Strawberry Matcha seem pretty appetizing but on the self-order machines I saw the Oreo matcha and had to try.

I tried La Cha for their boba. They get an A+ for creativity! The flavors were super cool and I had trouble deciding what I wanted. I ended up getting the strawberry taro, and the others in my party got the jade ocean and the strawberry velvet iced teas. We ordered on the kiosk and the drinks were ready within 5 min, there's plenty of seating inside. The strawberry taro tasted pretty artificial to me, so I wasn't a huge fan of it. The jade ocean tea tasted just like jello to me. I got reduced sweetness on all of the drinks but they were still very sweet, there was only one option to reduce the sugar. The strawberry velvet was the best one. They also have the option to put this in a crackling cup, which is a chocolate coated cup that you can crack which is pretty neat! I have to try that next time.

Visited this spot a couple of weeks ago and loved the drinks and tteokbokki I got! The rose tteokbokki is delish, there was a mix between wheat and rice tteokbokki and I enjoyed eating this! Their popcorn chicken was also delicious! The teas here were crafted so beautifully and tasted great! They have the viral chocolate cracking cup I've seen all over TikTok. It was so fun to squeeze the cup to crack the chocolate and enjoy the drink with it. A great boba spot in Torrance! The service was great and the interior was spacious. I'd definitely drop by more if I was in the area.
